Information We Collect
Account Data
When you join via Firebase Auth, we collect your email, display name, and profile imagery. We never see your password.
Artist Content
We securely store your uploaded masters (Audio) and artwork in Firebase Storage. Metadata (titles, prices, credits) lives in Firestore.
Financial Data
Stripe handles the money. We do not store full credit card numbers. We only see transaction metadata (amount, status, timestamp) to facilitate payouts.
Usage
We track basic interactions (page views, downloads) to improve platform speed and reliability.

Storage & Security
Google Cloud Infrastructure
StarrBase runs on Firebase and Google Cloud. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security protocols to keep your masters safe.
Data Liability Disclaimer
While we employ top-tier security, StarrBase is not liable for data loss caused by user error, accidental deletion, third-party provider failures (Google/Stripe), or force majeure events. Artists must maintain their own backups.
Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your data. Period.
We only share data with essential infrastructure partners:
- Google / Firebase (Hosting)
- Stripe (Payments)
Your Rights
You control your digital footprint. You have the right to:
- Access all data we hold on you.
- Update your artist profile instantly.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Request takedowns of your releases (subject to prior purchase rights).
